Astral Travel??? Help Required

I was just wandering if anybody has had any experience with astral travel? I know it may sound odd, however I wanted to know if anybody can give me advice and whether it may be possible to astral travel into the past and somehow change our actions and therefore create an altenate future?

Any help on the matter would be great.
