You also have to actively reach out for Them. Strike up a conversation with you Guardian or someone you'd like to know, do a Ritual...
The Gods are also all around us: in the sky, in the animals, in the looks of other people, kid's laughter, in the sunset, in the leaves...
There's really one obstacle that might block you: yourself!
