i got another question on the standard ritual

it mentions a silver chalice

i have none nor do i think i could afford one.

is there any kind of valid substitute chalice or cup i can also use if desired?

if so what other colored chalices or cups are fine??

and

are there any colors to avoid and not use???

<td val[/IMG]You don't have to but anything new, just look around in flea markets, and thrift shops. That is where I got all mine over the years.I have a German dagger that I found at a flea shop in Florida,I paid 20 bucks for,I have a chalice that I got at our local antique store which is silver plated, for like five  bucks.Just look around in stores like that, and you can find some very inexpensive purchases. The Gods really don't care that you paid a lot of money for something, only that you use it for their glory.

greetings,
no its not as important AS what is in your heart about father satan, just trust father satan honor him do meditations, rituals, as who can't afford the chalice or satanic tools can perform their ritual via astral.

HAIL SATAN,
HAIL BEELZEBUB,
HAIL ASTAROTH,
HAIL AZAZEL,
HAIL HITLER.

Yeah that's true
But I (and the gods I figure) are proud that I put forth effort to at least try to find things I'm sure
This is why I usually do not substitute stuff unless I know I've tried to find or obtain the real thing (or closest to it)
But then that's just me

Silver plated huh?
I'll have to look into that as that info on a bargain chalice may help me out.
But anyways I will ask more on bargain supplies for many things in satanism here in the group via my future message posts as I am one who is on somewhat of a budget anyways.
I in Washington state west coast USA do not know of many flea markets (err what does goodwill count as?) but I know Washington got pawn shops, and value village.  I do not know of many antique stores though.
But
As far as athame's  go I do not have anything but my own hands right now but do know that some convenient stores (not 7-11 mind you) and other places do have knives and other things.
As far as that goes what kind of athame should I look into buying someday in the future?  And what's the cheapest kind?
I am one on a budget so again any help on this also is much appreciated.
And again thanks a bunch for all the info so far as I am on my way to getting what I need now
Thank you all

..Hail Satan!! Yes, that's right. Right on the page for the standard ritual it even says "Unlike the xian churches and all of their vast wealth, pomp, and ceremonial show, Satan does not expect his people to have expensive items for ritual. If all you have is yourself, this is fine with Satan. He understands. Satan, who is our True Creator God has given us everything we need within ourselves. Satan represents and stands for self-efficiency and personal empowerment to where we can control our own lives and destinies without having to slavishly worship or rely upon something outside of ourselves."

My chalice is glass with a bluish tint and trimmed in gold, and I paid nothing for it. Some previous occupants left it at a house I was staying in, and I happen to run across it not too long after my dedication. I've been using it ever since...Use a coffee cup if you have to...rituals depend more so on the specific energies placed within the tools than the actual material objects themselves. Just keep your eyes open whenever you shop or whatever, as I can almost guarantee you'll find something within your budget. One thing about ritual tools is that they must be exclusive, meaning you should only use them for ritual...say you were using a steak knife for an athame, you shouldn't turn around and use the same knife to eat your dinner.  HAIL THE GODS OF DUAT!!

Thanks again for the info I will be sure to keep this in mind and lock stuff up as needed so my roomate (who by the way is at times mentally unstable) does not get them.
I will try to do better than a coffee cup but will use if needed if I can't
I mean it does say on standard ritual page if all you got is you then that's fine
Although I like to think I at least try to find decent things whenever I can
Long as I make the gods happy is what counts after all

It ain't much but where I live in the house I got a tall plastic red cup (not too tall though).
I mean if I can't get silver in any way perhaps red it another one of the gods favorite colors?
Any info in that would be appreciated as I can prolly find some cheap coffee or tea mugs before I am able to obtain a chalice
Athames btw are like last on my list as my hand I'm sure works fine for now so I put getting a knife as my lowest priority in this
Is that wrong???
God I hope not

Truth is saving for things does give me a sense of accomplishment once I can finally afford that something I want. Basically my main decision is now that I not worry bout athame now but may decide to check the stores for a chalice.

Basically I saying I gonna take it all one step at a time so to speak

..Hail Satan!!

Main thing is you don't have to spend a lot of money on ritual items if you don't have the money.
