I personally think it can. A lot of adept magicians and individuals I've met who are talented with the occult are androgynous in some way. My ex was a bit of a cross-dresser and is very talented.
The feminine aspect of the soul is what allows receiving and feeling power. THe masculine is what allows for directing that power. People who are androgynous are naturally comfortable with both the feminine and masculine and are thus more open to it.
I'm not saying all awesome magicians are androgynous, I've just met a lot of awesome androgynous magicians. If you look at those who are without, most of them are extremely unbalanced. Women overly feminine and males overly masculine. One can only be receptive and the other doesn't have the power to project.

So far for the Ida and Pingala, but does my psychological androgyny itself do something beneficial in terms of satanism for me?

Connecting Ida and Pingala means your making it so you can use both sides of your brain at one time so you have a higher consciousness.

Just a quick question- i'm an androgynic male (that's a psychological term, meaning i'm well balanced between a stereotypical male and a stereotypical female in terms of thinking- just in case someone gets me wrong- i do not dress girly or something ;P) and i was just thinking if this plays some important role in Satanism. I read that reaching the Godhead also means the union of Ida and Pingala, the male and female aspects of the soul, and it came into my mind that i am in fact an androgyne, maybe it is connected in some way?
