Yes...what our Brother and others have said is perfectly true. Just
ask yourself. Open your heart, search it, and examine what you find
there. Just be certain that you seek for the right reasons, not just
to prove or debunk or whatever. Father has better things to do than to
prove himself to skeptics. i'm not dissing you, I am just saying.
Satanism is not for everyone, and dabbling is dangerous. Satan does
not lie liars. Give this a read:

Someone else here mentioned it already, how if you're not a dedicated
Satanist, attempting contact could go wrong.
Might I make a friendly suggestion?
If you're not a dedicated Satanist, before attempting contact, I'd recommend
you first ask yourself, honestly, "Is Satanism right for me?"
And, be ready to get an answer! Be open to signs, noticing "little" things,
and certain, sudden realizations "out-of-the-blue."
I'd hate to see something bad happen to a fellow Gentile. So, please
consider taking the correct route, if you're serious about looking into this
at all.
I too once believed myself an atheist. So I understand the need for evidence
to believe. It's not "wrong" of you to need evidence to believe. That's just
the lie told to others by jews/xtians/muslims. They demand blind faith.
Their nasty, thought-form god requires slavish worship.
But not Father Satan. He understands. So, ask yourself.
Hail Satan and ALL of the true Gods!

Thanks all for the thoughts.
Indeed though I identify as agnostic/atheist, I agree with many of
Satanism's philosophies, so who knows? Maybe I will choose to go down that
path.
I think as far as meditation goes, I will do my own personal reflection,
perhaps taking in techniques to guard me from negative influence, and if I
find a draw towards something I will follow it.
And yes, I've read quite a bit of the Joy of Satan website, though when I
approached the power meditation section, well that's what spurned my post.
One step at a time, I suppose.

I agree with Serpentfire, and to add up, remember that our meditations
are
different and much knowledge came from the Gods of Duat. So indirectly
you
are doing SATANIC MEDITATION. The difference is that you are doing a
Satanic Meditation, that by the way are very powerful, without
protection.

I should clarify, when buhdists, athiests and new agers are
meditating
they don't have Satan on their mind they are just going along with
the
corrupted versions believing what they are told and are of no threat
to the
enemy unless they go too far or start straying away looking for more.
If someone is looking into the reality of Satanism they 'can' have
experiences to frighten them away again. I just wanted to mention this
it
happens. If anything scary or weird happens do your best to ignore
it.
Maybe nothing much will happen too. It can take quite some time
meditating
before you notice any effects, being not Spiritual you could be quite
closed down astrally too so you won't be as sensitive to energy.
Something I notice too is Satan keeps us motivated, I have heard more
than
a few times members saying how they slacked off and Satan let them
know,
signs, reminders, motivation. Those without get lazy and lost some
persist
on their own and get pretty far but it's less common.
Hail Satan

People meditate everyday and they aren't Satanist. Think Buddist.
They
are close to atheist but they aren't Spiritual Satanist.
No, you don't need candles, or special clothing to meditate, some
meditate completely nude, but that could be chilly in the winter.
It's not advisable to try and contact Demons unless you are a
Dedicated
Satanist as all sorts of things can go wrong. And Yes. protocol does
matter
in contact, it's different for each of our God's - Goddesses.

Howdy! Just to sum things up, I'm a life-long agnostic with
atheist
leanings. As of late I've taken an interest in Satanism. Though my
atheist
beliefs keep me from from fully embracing "spiritual" Satanism, the
basic
tenants of the faith align perfectly with my worldview. And though I
am not
spiritual, I find the concept of other planes of existence containing
what
we'd call demons to be very plausible.
So basically, I've been desiring to clear my mind and go into
meditation. And I've been very interested in attempting communication
with
a demon. I have a specific one in mind. My reasons are simply to
strengthen
and validate aspects of my philosophy that have been flourishing as of
late
(sorry to be vague, but I'm assuming these matters are to be kept
personal?).
As a non-theist I am overwhelmed at the concept of chakras and
power
meditation. Assuming I just sit in the dark and quiet my mind, am I in
any
danger if I don't acknowledge the more spiritual aspects of
mediation?
And for when I feel ready to attempt contact with my desired
demon,
would it be considered rude to ignore certain sacraments like
candles,
incense, and attire? Would it be offensive to the demon to evoke
him/her in
the nude? As far as I'm concerned, if the heart and mind are
well-aligned,
everything else falls into place. Would that be correct?
Thanks and I look forward to your thoughts!
