about star signs

Hey i wonder i have dreamt many times me using the six point star to fight angels and witches. And always most of the time i will use my blood to draw it. the star sign is like two inverted triangles and from that sign a fiery red aura will descend from above and kind of feels like its making me strong. Im not sayin im strong or anything im just wondering what does the star sign mean? And why must i draw stars with blood?
