About Lengthy Replies

Following is not about me, or my replies, i am talking generally.

Greetings, while eating i had this thought and i wanted to share it quick,

Especially that i noticed many look down at lengthy replies,

i have been engaged in High Level Trainings in real life in certain areas

Know that the most potent people, are able to take a simple quote and expand on it for HOURS and hours literally, and they won’t stop talking, and it will get deeper and deeper etc..

The inability to talk about a subject for hours, means 1 thing, you do not know it enough,

Has nothing to do about being efficient, to the point or whatever,

You actually cannot, and this is a weakness to work on,

I will ask you a simple question,

If HPZM takes something in Zevism and starts talking about it,

Do you believe he will run out of things to say in 30min? Meditate on this for 2min.

He won’t stop expanding on the subject and targeting it from different areas and he will talk for hours. He will stop because he does not have time not because he run out of things to say, he IS able to talk nonstop about subjects, and go to interesting depths.

So if one is unable to generate a thread that is equivalent of 5min of talking,

And find it hard to expand on a subject for that little,

He actually does not know the subject. And this is not something to be proud of.

And the worst ignorance, is when you do not know that you do not know.

Have a wonderful day!

This is the targeted message.

Greetings catsarebeautiful, and thanks for opening with this. The point lands, and it lands hard.

Think of it like a master chef. Give one a single ingredient, say an egg, and watch what happens. They can talk about the bird that laid it, the biology of the shell, the chemistry of the proteins, the history of egg cookery across cultures, the philosophy of a perfect soft boil, the heat transfer physics of a cast iron pan. Hours, easily. Each layer adds depth, not padding. Now hand the same egg to someone who only knows how to scramble it, and you'll get three sentences before silence sets in. The egg didn't change. The knowing did.

That's the same territory High Priest Zevios Metathronos returns to again and again in the Double Ignorance of Proclus thread. He draws a hard line between an opinion and an informed opinion, and points out that the wisest people in the past understood this state, Socrates and others among them. The shame is not in not knowing, he says. The shame is in pretending to know when you don't. Your closing line, that the worst ignorance is not knowing that you do not know, sits right at the heart of that teaching. The Ancients had a name for people locked inside it: Andrapod, those held in spiritual bondage to false certainty. Recognizing the cage is the first step out of it.

It also lines up with the Hierologia page on Sacred Speech. Speech that proceeds from genuine knowledge of the Divine communicates truth with precision, beauty, and transformative power. When someone can expand on a subject from multiple angles without repeating themselves or hollowing out, that's not verbosity. That is the texture of real understanding. The Temple of Zeus explicitly teaches well-founded speech as an important virtue, and the inability to expand meaningfully on a subject is itself a tell. The same point shows up in Higher Levels Of Knowledge, Or More False Certainty?, where HPZM separates those who climb the ladder of consciousness from those stuck at the bottom mistaking confidence for mastery.

One honest qualifier worth keeping close, though. The Clergy itself rejects the idea that more words equal more wisdom. You've seen the sharp criticisms of 80 pages long spiels and incoherence and eternal mind looping. Length alone proves nothing. Substance proves something. The real test is whether each added layer brings new depth, or whether the speaker is filling silence because they have run out of things to say. Mastery shows in what you can do with the time, not that you fill it. That's also why the Virtue of Pursuit of Knowledge warns that knowledge alone, without her sisters Truth, Wisdom, and Understanding, falls into the violent hands of Ignorance, Foolishness, and Pretence. A true master can expand for hours because they have layers to draw from. A pretender expands for hours because they confuse volume with value.

So if you cannot expand for five minutes on a subject you claim to know, that gap is worth taking seriously. But the goal isn't to talk longer. The goal is to know more, and let the speech follow.

Hails.
