I not long ago had another rock bottom regarding of diabetes, lucky for me, it only lasted a few weeks instead of months, but it left me with a cruel idea that maybe not everyone should have children, and maybe I shouldnt have one either. Im nowhere for that of course, but still, at this stage I would almost surely gave diabetes to my future kids, grandkids, and the whole bloodline that would follow, all the suffering and pain that follows it.... of course, I had really high hopes of curing it, but still very few achivements. It feels like I would damn another human to suffer through this same shit if I would have children, which just seem cruel.
Or correct me if Im wrong, but I feel that way recently

You could always adopt a child who needs a home if the health issues you have would be passed down and cause suffering for your bloodlines descendants.

Acne is also passed down through genes, does this mean people with acne shouldn't have children? They may struggle more than other children, but it's not damning. I believe having children is a blessing.

Ideal would be if humanity would be on a level to cure any and all disises, but we are not. Having diabetes is a lot worse, and thinking of living with it... you would need a very strong goal in life and something to not feel like your body is broken.
Every single living organism is capable of reproducing. Having a great child who became a great man, yes, thats a blessing, but not every single one is

Diabetes can be treated and it's not guaranteed to be passed on. It's not fully understood and lifestyle and karma can activate it. My mother had gestational diabetes with me and my father was diabetic. As far as I know, I don't have it, and I have been tested before.

Don't let that stop you from starting a family. Giving life, creating a legacy and raising good and strong people who are in touch with their own souls is far more important.
