I spent the majority of my life deeply bound within fundamentalist Christianity and it has been just over five years that Satan has brought me out of this deep deception into a new life with Him. I wanted to share this tribute and hope it can be an encouragement to anyone out there starting out on this path....
They told me You were my enemy...but You showed me that You were a Friend.
They told me I was to fear you because you were out to destroy me...But You showed me that i could trust and love You because You were out to give me a new life!
They told me that you were a 'fallen angel' and You despised me...But You revealed to me that you were my true Creator and loved me!
They told me I was broken and needed to be 'fixed' But you said I was whole and complete. I did not need 'fixing' because my soul was not fractured. I only needed to learn and develop as a young child..and that You were there to teach & guide me.
They told me I needed them - these so called 'teachers and pastors'' - to tell me how to to know my Creator, how to talk to and love my Creator. But the 'creator' they spoke of was not my Creator at all, but the true destroyer, thief and deceiver of souls!
Oh Satan, Your words breathed new life into me. Your teachings taught me truth and Your love gave me hope and life! Your presence surrounded me with peace and Your power protected me through all the seasons and the storms. Satan, my true Savior and God. You are my fortress in whom I can trust and my Love where I can be vulnerable with no fear of being abused or used.
Satan...Guileless One to me, with unselfish love, enduring and faithful One. You are the One whom I have searched for my whole life. They tried so hard to keep me from You, but You brought me out of their labyrinth of lies and granted me your truth and life. Praise and honour be to Your mighty Name forever!
