A short documentary about school lunch system in Japan...

Thanks for sharing this

And there's one of the reasons why Europe is in such a bad condition when it comes to educating the young generations - both academically and life wise.

Before I became SS, I did find myself wishing to live in such a place. Even know it's a bit frustrating to think about it.

While places like Japan and South Korea have a lot of flaws and issues as well, I appreciate them for the discipline, dedication and respect they have as common traits in their people.

Japan inspires me when it comes to life education and wholesome moments like the ones showed in the documentary. South Korea inspires me through the immense effort they put into education and providing their young generations anything they might need for having the best quality of studying.

The education system in Korea is very harsh and too demanding - and that needs to change very soon. Or at least balance it with creative and physical work. But I definitely find inspiration in their hard work and dedication. And I sure wouldn't mind to have a study cafe around here or to not be considered a loser or be scoffed at for actually caring for my studies and finding pleasure in reading.

I'm sure that will change in uni, but it'll depend a lot on what roommates I might have as well.

Believe me, you should see students of that age here. 90% of them are monsters.

Monsters.

The teachers end up low-key going crazy because of them. They aren't allowed to demand any discipline. There's no respect for teachers anymore. And that goes up to the last year of high school, where most of the students curse their teachers for actually worrying for their future and wanting them to study for the damned Baccalaureate. It's very said.

It's even more sad when everyone blames it on the teachers.

I lived in a small, world forgotten village for my whole life. And believe me, most of the teachers I had - especially now, in high school - were at least decent. And they did care.

I'll always remember my Biology teacher. Gods, that woman was so dedicated. She would talk nonstop at school, during every class. She would do anything to make sure that the student understands. I love anatomy thanks to that woman.

And parents here blame teachers for everything. They all think that their precious babies are so damn innocent.

Hell, most parents themselves don't put any effort into educating their children or helping them with their homework at least.

It's ridiculous. And sad.

LoL i just realized that an otaku is some kind of shut in who's playing a lot of video games..

But I meant those people that are demotivated to get back to work and then end up like what I just mentioned.. but they have a different name.
In Japan its something like a shame to not have work and only sit at home.

I think "NEET" is the word you're looking for. :)

Many of these are result of the "black companies" as they call it in Japan, which exploit their workers and ruin their health and personal lives. There's an anime about called "Recovery of an MMO Junkie", directed by an open pro-National Socialist animator.

Ah thanks for the information. I think I watched that series actually. The woman meets up with one that she met online again after such a long time right? and then they start going out?
And going outside in general is not something that she liked to do in the earlier episodes, I think I remember that much.
