The best way to make sure the asshole xians (to say nothing of dogs,
coyotes, traffic and other hazards, including just mean people) don't harm
cats, black or any other color, is to keep them indoors. All our cats are
and always have been indoor cats. They adapt just fine.

Thank you for the wonderful yule time story. I really think the kitten is a reincarnation of your old cat. A familar also finds a way to get back with you when you have treated them well.

As for me I have both indoor and outdoor cats and both seem to adapt well.
