#829 Cannot edit or delete

Hi. I have a question: why can't you edit or delete yourself a post you have made? Is there a particular reason that I am unaware of? What if you feel bad because you made a mistake in writing or used the wrong word and you can't do anything about it? I would appreciate answers.

These are available only to select members of good standing chosen by the Clergy, as we do not want people to misuse these privileges. A person could say one thing and then later edit the post, adding something nonsensical.

To avoid mistakes, you can take extra time to make sure your post is correct before posting it, and if a mistake goes through, then posts can be reported for deletion.
