I am from a strong religious backround , but i am SOOO drawn to what ive been told is the "dark side" . Yet the slightest wind from that direction renders me helpless and wanting more. (sry if thats tmi)

Both the dark and the light side are part of the original culture of the Gods. Different systems work at different times, for different reasons, for different people.

That being said, I wouldn't rule this out as a sign from previous lifetimes that you may have been with the Gods in the form of "christian demons". Quite likely if one is European and was drawn here, for example, but certainly not exclusive.

As long as you're not here for misguided reasons, expecting us to be "do what thou wilt" self-worshippers, hedonists, domestic terrorists, or whatever you've heard from this week's fad demonology cult, I don't see an issue with being drawn to the path through a more left hand path approach. There's certainly merit to that philosophy.
