My advice:
1) Revise your identity
If you tell yourself that you're a smoker and a drinker, you will act like a smoker and a drinker. If you tell yourself that you're a healthy person who is on the path to the Godhead, you will act like a healthy person who is on the path to the Godhead. Your thoughts influence your actions.
2) Gradually reduce consumption
Reducing the dose week by week, little by little, will provide a balanced and steady solution. Don't rush and don't make sudden changes.
3) Find replacements
Addictions must be replaced with healthy habits, such as physical activity (running, sprinting, resistance training, or even gardening). In the case of alcohol addiction, drink two small bottles of water every time you get the urge to drink alcohol. You will likely stop feeling the need.
