I was curious to the fact if JOS uses the 28 day 13 month lunar cycle as was proper before the yehuborim turned it into a mechanical construct. I know the proper day for the cycle starts on July 26th and connects with the Star Sirius. Our predictions would be more precise as well as our natural rhythmic nature as cosmic beings. Thanks for anyone who has knowledge on this subject !
