When reading the mythology, we should consider it allegory, can we interpret it ourselves?
when a Story is about Zeus, is the allegory too about Zeus? Or it is about the Gods generally.
Also are Hinduism stories good source ?

Theory crafting is very healthy and should be part of your study, as notes. Just don't take it as the truth and be open for the Gods to teach you better interpretations.

As for Hindu stories, most are fine. If it's in the Vedas, it is generally fine (do not take the Upanishads and similar philosophical interpretations too seriously, only the stories themselves), perhaps some corruption, but that is also present in certain stories that the Greek philosophers have labeled as non canonical. Not as valuable as what is directly taught in ToZ, but healthy to study.

The esoteric interpretation is not focused on what other beings do, but our inner world. They are allegories for workings of our souls and spiritual transformation.

You have to be knowledgeable in esoteric knowledge to be able to interpret it. If you don't know about that then you will be wrong and miss the point, like many academics do when they look at lotus flower symbolism and think it refers to psychedelic drugs (and we all know here what lotus flowers symbolize).

Myth Interpretation is a sacred science. It demands a high caliber of spiritual openness and communication with the Gods - otherwise, one shouldn't pretend they know what they're interpreting and venture on misleading others. People interpreting whatever about the Myths have led to many abominations, blasphemy and what you see in modern religions, including what we call today "Hinduism", where rarely there's anyone truly enlightened enough to know what the science behind these mean.

Provided this is specified and explained it's your interpretation, or fanfiction, you can do anything. What is forbidden is for someone to say falsehood and try to say "this is what the myth says" for no reason. If anything, the Myths are coded divine materials and they should inspire, for art, storymaking and anything else. Core Mythology has messages for advancement and the stories of the Gods are allegorical spiritual texts of maximal level of Divine Alchemy.

It's just that one must not blend the levels. One must not take a myth, write a comic with altered story, and claim it's the "original" or anything. Art should remain in the realm of art, and interpretation in the realm of interpretation.
