Jesus was a persona hijacked from Apollonios of Tyana.

There are other things, and to be honest, endless frauds about these programs but it is not wise to dwell upon. Bible had to appeal to Gentiles, plus, still it is said "salvation is from Jews" and this is why they were privileged while pagans had been tortured, killed and had been subjected to other horrors while Jews were able to happily practice their own "heresies".

Jews had to be villainized a bit because of few reasons:

1. They still practice a higher spirituality, and people would question "Why we are not allowed to do that".

2. They want to keep the somewhat proper form to themselves, but also want to be not subjected to the treatment of pagans entirely, so "God" was taking care of them, the goyim has nothing to worry about while they happily enslave everyone on their diaspora, while it is called "punishment".

3. They lost their status in subsequent books because this allows two things. One, respect. Because they were chosen people first, strong and proper but refused to follow Jesus. These all are ancient psy-ops that still work, because you let access into the mind with few wordings and corrupted principles. Was correct once but proud. What do you imagine? Some very good being with good heart but with pride, tragic story of the hero.

The most obvious argument against this is already what kills this. If Jesus was some sort of awakened master, he's the single least succesful awakened master in history.

Your idea (not a novel one) is that he had some sort of deification message and the bible misinterpreted his teachings. Well, where's that true Jesus message? It was "lost" merely decades later, and the earliest christians just one generation apart from his alleged life were already preaching a very pro-Israel message about how the jews will return to christ once the fullness of the gentiles converts.
The earliest christians were trashing temples, breaking statues and deriding the pagan priesthood.

So this "awakened individual" brought no massive change to Israel's religion or way of life, died young after a few years of preaching, left no writings, clearly didn't make his message clear enough to his disciples, and started the single biggest corruption of true religion in history.
I can't imagine a bigger story of failure. An awakened individual wouldn't do that.

Not only is this awakened Jesus a massive failure, but he's entirely redundant. What exactly would his message do for pagan cultures, which already had plenty of awakened individuals and already had the right ideas about the Divine and spirituality? If it was for the jews, again, he did a shit job at convincing any of the jewish priesthood, and certainly didn't have that much mass appeal.

There were diaspora jewish communities at the alleged time of Jesus' life which had apocalyptic beliefs about an imminent end to the world and the coming of a messiah. Jews took a massive hit at Bar Kokhba and scattered like bugs, creating more jewish communities which could influence people.
The idea that the messiah already came, and the entire story of Jesus, was roughly sketched out as basic propaganda to rile up groups of vandals made up of the outcasts of societies and make noise against the established pagan religious authorities, which was a spiritually planned attack at the macro scale, timed with Pluto in Pisces.

"Christianity" was then fringe until it wasn't, jews and newly converted gentiles twisted themselves in knots to create a theology, with various competing ideas (see the writings of Origen being very different to other church fathers, see gnostic christianity and how popular it was, see the many "heresies" that were common belief before they were doctrinally clarified). After enough influence was attained in the political class, Constantine gathered the various groups and set up a standardized theology in the Creeds.

By the time Rome fell, there was basically no other authority to ground society in other than the church, and voila, christianity became massive.

There was never some sort of awakened Jesus that was "misinterpreted", because an awakened individual wouldn't be this grossly misinterpreted, this close to his alleged lifetime, by people this close to him, with this little influence and this much "anti-influence".
Whatever attracts you about Jesus is stolen material from our own Gods and mythologies.

I could spend an hour here going over this and your other posts, quoting your statements and arguing about them, but this getting a bit old now. You say you aren't a Christian anymore, but most of what you say is to the contrary. Singly out jewsus as a break-away prophet, exposing the lies and corruption of the jewish religious establishment, is nothing new. Claiming he is not the son of god, or some such nonsense, in no way mitigates or supports this.

Some take years to deprogram from Christianity, it was pretty quick for me because I was already disillusioned with all religion. The only way to properly deprogram is to read everything you can, and then some. There will come a point where the bottom will fall out of all the lies, and you will see the real TRUTH. This will be the real turning point and your life, and you will change in ways never before imagined by you.

This is as if historians after 1000 years are watching a hollywood movie set in California and concluding that all the characters and events there are real just because the movie was set in a real and verified place. Yes, that's how low low the standards of evidence of "biblical studies" department are and why they are not real historians.

It goes without saying that just because many of the locations and some of the people were real it doesn't mean that the events or persons mentioned there are real too. This is common sense for any actual historian, otherwise all historical fiction novels would be taken as actual history because they are based on real characters and events.

And nope, Jesus never existed. No contermporary historian mentions him. Josephus' mention of Jesus is a proven 4th century forgery by Eusebius. Read the book Nailed by David Fitzgerald (you can find it for free online), it's the best one that debunks the historicity of Jesus.

If he did exist, he would be a jew who taught suicidal teachings. Not what an "enlightented" individual would do.

The character of Paul, who acted as a missionary to Gentiles, never met this Jesus in person and only had a hallucination, according to the official Christian account. He was not even there when Jesus apparently performed all the miracles, and Jesus's own disciples, who were mostly illiterate anyway, put a large question mark on the legitimacy of the Gospels, especially if you take into the account that there are multiple different accounts on how each and every one of them died.
