Healing a Family member using our abilities?

I wanted to ask if it is alright if we can use Runes or other mantras to help/heal family members or does that go against our rules/ethics?
I have a family member right now who has an extremely bad Saturn transit happening to him and its destroying him physically and mentally. Is it ok if we use our abilities to protect and heal family members that are going through rough times like this? or does that mean that we're interfering with this person's Karma too much and we should just let these natural things happen?

I have helped family significantly with healing and other powers. It is only right to do so when you can for the people you love and those who have done right to you.

Yes, you can definitely help. I did daily cleaning and AoP on all my loved ones for a few years when I was new here, a working for a family member to be promoted at work, and healing workings whenever needed.

I was using Sowilo and Wunjo to heal a tooth that had a bacterial infection, I am going to the dentist as well of course to do all the material actions to cure it but I want to know what would be a good rune to help with that. I've also being doing a few rituals for Asclepius. The infection appears to be still there. Maybe there's a more refined way I could heal the infection and aid the dentist in success.
