Do Sun or Mars Spiritual Squares for perfect vitality, the rest of these things will no longer be necessary. Your body and immune system will become extremely resilient to any potential ailments. Check your natal chart to see if you have any afflictions on your Sun as well.

Cold showers are highly counter intuitive. They don't provide any health benefit, I would not recommend them.
Definitely not true for me, I used to be very sensitive to cold and after adding cold water after I shower, I feel much healthier and more resistant to cold. I wouldn't recommend showering ONLY in cold water, though. The muscles and body relaxes in hot water.
 
Turning the shower to cold water for 30 seconds after the main shower is invigorating, and feels rejuvenating especially in hot weather. But showering entirely in cold water isn't healthy, it can aggravate heart problems because it constricts the circulatory system too much which puts strain on the heart muscle.

That's interesting. During summer and very hot weather time I used to have entirely cold showers. I thought at the time they are beneficial for strengthening the immune system.

Although they are long, Mercury Squares for rendering perfect health onto oneself also work very well. It is often forgotten that Mercury pertains to health and healing.

Lady Astarte actually recommended I use the Mercury and Sun Squares for perfect health, but Mars does work well with this for life protection, vitality and energy, or any blood issues.

The main thing I can recommend for the OP is to look into Vitamin K2 MK4 aka Activator X and Weston Price's studies on nutrition. This is something very absent from people's diets.

Another thing, as HPS Maxine relayed, is magnesium. People are often deficient in it. There are a lot of good tips from HPS Maxine and HPS Lydia in the archives.
 
On the other hand taking only hot showers also has its disadvantages and risks. Hot water can remove the skin's natural oils leading to dryness and irritation. For those who suffer from eczema, dermatitis or other skin-related problems, this can also worsen symptoms. For males, constant exposure to relatively high temperatures can cause a decrease in the amount of sperm produced.

A drop in blood pressure is not to be underestimated if you already suffer from that. Very hot water causes vasodilation, that is, it increases the space available for blood within the vessels, thus reducing blood pressure. Additionally, the body in response to the heat can increase blood flow to the skin which can lead to a temporary reduction in blood volume returning to the heart causing again the lowering of blood pressure (be careful and do not make any sudden movements when you stand up from a hot bath for example, you might faint or get dizzy).

I would recommend taking lukewarm showers or as recommended by Lydia alternate between hot and cold for short intervals of time.

If your showers are quite short and you have a strong heart, then you will probably be fine.
