Is it normal to feel more of a connection when I call the gods by their names from other cultures?

Hey all, I feel really foolish for asking this, I feel like people will say its ok but at the same time I want to make sure. So basically when I communicate (or even just attempt to communicate with the Gods telepathically), I find its easier when I use the ancient sumerian names, like Enlil for Zeus, Astarte for Aphrodite etc. I do not know what it is that makes me concentrate easier on the communication, like look my telepathic communication is probably still just starting to grow in the grand scheme of things, I don't always get perfectly clear responses, and sometimes I wonder if it even goes through. I know it's much better to formally summon the gods, I know they are busy, but I have felt constantly under spiritual attack, I am surrounded by Christianity all over the place, and it's hard to keep up my defences these last few weeks. That's why I keep ending up calling on the Gods, and I don't intend to keep begging them to do any work I can't do myself, and I intend to do the work myself. Really I just want to check why I don't feel as much of a buzz when using the roman names, honestly I say it's just me getting used to them, but beyond that I think it's just from my exposure to roman mythology more in popular culture in my lifetime than in the actual historical books and stories, and I know that's really sad to say, but if that's all I think I'll be fine. Just wondering, thanks in advance, and I hope your all having lovely days/eveninga/nights.May the Gods light shine on us all.

Yes, of course.

You may have studied these identities in past lives.
Your soul might be more drawn to the specific details that a certain local identity emphasizes for that God.
Thor and Enlil, for example, point to the same being and even to the same "aspect", but are clearly different in certain nuances, and their Divine names invoke different energies.

The Gods also do not "fight for identities" or take them as seriously as we think sometimes.
When you call upon a God for guidance, you may be helped in unseen ways by a different God entirely, or by a lower deity from that God's "cohort".

Use the names you feel closer to. And even more importantly, try to work to figure out why you feel closer to specific names, it might teach you about yourself.

The Gods are never "busy", this was said in order to explain the concept of the Divine energies being negatively affected by historic Yehuboric curses and programming upon humanity.

Consistent communication comes with time and practice.
