Red race

Greetings family,

Is there, or has there ever been a Red race? I always heard about American indigenous ancient people being "Red"

the Native Americans- North American continet- were the ones typically called "Red Skins" though that's a bad slur. So for those who want to respect them they don't use that term. It's normally found in the stuff written by Europeans that came over a long time ago- around the 17th century but don't quote me on that time frame please.
