The politics of that entire area area is very corrupt, unfortunately you'll never get into an established party without significant bribes (something like 10k euro, if you have the connections for it even). This is pretty much true for most countries, but that area especially is this case.

That is to say, don't bother. It's good to have an interest in politics, but participating within the current system is very unrealistic. You can disagree here if you want to, I'm just saying it's a waste of time because I've explored similar options earlier.

Instead of asking for the Priesthood's permission, maybe ask yourself what qualities do you 1)have AND 2)need to become a politician.

Because this behavior which you have displayed... it leaves much to be desired.

Do you have any education in law, history, politics? Do you know when to speak and when to stay silent? Do you have any role models? Are you at ease with the thought of being a controversial figure? Do you want to be a force for change, or perhaps do you just want to gain fame, recognition, women, etc?

Sometimes it's just better to be blunt and tell delusional people the truth. You can beat around the bush all day with this guy, but you'd just be wasting both of your time. I know you know.

Not only does he not have the qualities required for this, but also not the environment either. That's two miracles he'd have to preform, not just one, and not small miracles either... I'm quite sure it would be easier to turn water into wine than transmute him into a person with the appropriate skills for this.
