For some reason my chakras never stay still except my 6th.

The other ones always veer off from position, aimed off-centre.

What is the cause and how can I fix it?

Use breathing to help with this.

This seems very common in the beginning. Keep working on this, with advancement and practice you will succeed. Remember that everything has its time.

This sounds like a focus and concentration problem. It is easier for the brain to focus on the sixth, as it is directly in the brain region. This can be trained via the Flame Meditation, Void Meditation, as well as the Sun/Moon Meditation. These practices will help you improve your concentration and bring your chakras back into balance, and ensure that they stay centered and aligned.

The society we live in today is predominantly left-brained. This causes an over-reliance on logic and analysis which negatively affect the brain's ability to maintain focus and concentration, as it often neglects the creative and intuitive capacities of the right brain, which helps to still and ease the mind off of disturbances. This is why incorporating simple exercises as the above that stimulate right-brain activity, as well as whole-brain activity, can counterbalance this tendency.

I literally cannot feel several chakras. About the only ones I can feel are the crown and the third eye. Also the one in the center of the head. The poorest ones is the base chakra and the sacral chakra.

This is interesting, as I took a quiz on the chakras, and it scored the base chakra at -88 inactive. the sacral at -81. I am sure this is not good, but gives me a clear indication of what I can work on.

Do RTRs help the Chakras at all?

If you are cleansing the chakras, you should feel their correct location.

Inhaling the energy corresponding to the chakra will also help you feel it.

Keep clearing and opening the chakras every day, you are probably quite a beginner.
