From what I'm reading on Ancient Egyptian history, I can't seem to find any evidence that the Egyptians were White, as claimed by TOZ, which mainly cites Ben Klassen. I've read Klassen's "Nature's Eternal Religion", but he doesn't seem to cite any sources which proves Ancient Egypt was a White civilisation. TOZ's section on it just cites Klassen's book and also Eric Cline talking about Egypt being invaded by Kushites, but that alone doesn't prove Egypt was a White civilisation, unless Cline said it somewhere?
Besides views from a modern perspective, there seems to be a complete lack of ancient accounts which said Egyptians were White at one point. Herodotus describes Egyptians as dark skinned and woolly-haired:
"For it is plain to see that the Colchians are Egyptians; and what I say, I myself noted before I heard it from others. When it occurred to me, I inquired of both peoples; and the Colchians remembered the Egyptians better than the Egyptians remembered the Colchians; the Egyptians said that they considered the Colchians part of Sesostris' army. I myself guessed it, partly because they are dark-skinned and woolly-haired; though that indeed counts for nothing, since other peoples are, too; but my better proof was that the Colchians and Egyptians and Ethiopians are the only nations that have from the first practised circumcision. The Phoenicians and the Syrians of Palestine acknowledge that they learned the custom from the Egyptians, and the Syrians of the valleys of the Thermodon and the Parthenius, as well as their neighbors the Macrones, say that they learned it lately from the Colchians. These are the only nations that circumcise, and it is seen that they do just as the Egyptians. But as to the Egyptians and Ethiopians themselves, I cannot say which nation learned it from the other; for it is evidently a very ancient custom. That the others learned it through traffic with Egypt, I consider clearly proved by this: that Phoenicians who traffic with Hellas cease to imitate the Egyptians in this matter and do not circumcise their children."
He never said they were White at some point and then mixed. On a minor point, he also says that either the Egyptians or Ethiopians invented circumcision, while TOZ says the jews came up with it. Herodotus also says it's a very old practice. It seems clear to me the jews took it from the Egyptians, like they took everything from Pagan civilsations.
However, the most glaring lack of evidence of a White Ancient Egypt is how Ancient Egyptians depicted themsleves. I've yet to find any Ancient Egyptian art depicting Blonde Egyptians or even White Egyptians. Ancient Egyptians even contrasted themselves with more light-skinned middle-eastern people (Asiatics, from the Middle-east above Egypt), as well as the darker Nubian Peoples, as shown in the image below.
The Egyptians are the ones next to Horus/Ra.
As for why there are Egyptians today with lighter-skin and blonde hair, that could be explained by Roman and Greek genetic influence, as well as French/British genetic influence. That doesn't prove Ancient Egypt was originally a White civilisation.
Mummies with blonde/red hair could be explained with loss of melanin in the hair after death over time, although it's debated. I'm not an expert on this so idk. This again isn't conclusive for me.
Is there any ancient text that proves Ancient Egypt was White, written by either ancient historians like Herodotus describing them or preferably from Ancient Egyptians themselves? That's doesn't mean Egypt today isn't mixed, it clearly is, but from what I've researched, the indigenous population appeared to have more in common with Arab and Eastern African populations, as depicted by Herodotus and the Ancient Egyptians themselves. If anything, they seemed originally to have been more darker skinned than they are today, and got ligher due to Arab/European invasions.
These are not images of White people.
I was able to find some images of lighter-skinned egyptians, usually women since they weren't out in the sun. Even those looked more like light-skinned Arabs or Middle-Eastern peoples, but most depictions of Egyptian men and women were like those above the image.
All depictions of Egyptian hair were black, sometimes with clearly african hair textures as shown above, even the lighter-skinned egyptians were depicted with black hair, none with brown, red or blonde hair. Egyptians clearly had the ability to use golden/yellow colours in their art.
Even reading through the Egyptian book of the dead, looking at the images there, no blonde Egyptians. Nowhere in the text does it describe Ancient Egyptians or even Egyptian Gods as White or Nordic looking, this of course doesn't mean anything on what the Gods appear or what race They are, since the Gods are usually depicted after the race/ethnicity that is worshipping Them. This isn't about the Gods though, but the ancient Egyptians themselves. I can't find anywhere, whether it was from ancient Greek historians, or egyptian art, or egyptian texts, that the Ancient Egyptians were a White, Nordic civilisation at one point. I insit on ancient accounts due to the bias of modern historians/researchers who may be determined to prove Ancient Egypitians were this or that race of peoples.
Did I miss something? Is there clear proof/evidence that Ancient Egypt was White originally? How then was I not able to find it?
