I never did yoga in my life and I know it is essential in satanism. The thing which kept me away from it is lack of knowledge and that I have bad distention. So I am looking here to find knowledge. Where to start as a totally beginner and what to do about that you cant do the postions fully because of my bad distention. Thanks for sharing your knowledge !

For static poses, it is important to relax into it. Only after you have relaxed into it, your joints becomes accustomed to it, which allows you to go much deeper into the stretch. This happens roughly after 2 minutes of staying in the pose. So, ideally, you should stay in a pose 3 to 5 minutes. Only then you will see any major improvement moving into the next sessions.
