I suppose so but why not do both for more power? Maybe one in the morning and one at night if you have the time for it.
The body needs to be stretched thoroughly to avoid energy getting trapped especially for us who do power meditation because we take in alot of energy, and hatha yoga manipulates the spine so its straight so the serpent of Satan can rise and energy should never be pooling in the legs.

I'm getting ready to do the 40 day program and I notice that it says to do yoga. Is it okay to substitute yoga for Tai Chi? I've been doing Tai Chi for years and its something that I really enjoy. I only have time to do one of these. I've never done yoga before.
