Yantras

I was reading about Astaroths eightfold path and I do all of them everyday but I am a bit confused about the Yantras. It says Yantras are meditation upon sigils and symbols. In the main power meditation section I see no Yantra meditaitions (no symbols and sigils).

We do it when we meditate upon the God's sigils when summoning Them.

The original yantras though are complex geometrical shapes like that:

This shape looks like it has something to do with the alignment of the chakras. I think they have to do with spiritual workings and instructions on how to do them, like the Gods's sigils do.
