Xtains Claim "Majority of Historians Believe Jesus Christ Existed"

I have recently come across some Xtians that claim;
"the majority of historians believe there is evidence for Jesus Christ's existence"

Some have referenced the Wikipedia Article "The Historicity of Jesus" attempting to use it as evidence that this so called "majority of historians" believe Jesus existed.

Does anybody have more information to help refute this?

Here is one for you. There is no evidence AT ALL that jesus existed.

It's true that the majority of historians do believe that. However, they do that on pure bias, they totally disregard evidence against it since they are either xians or in the case of few atheists or agnostics, they do that because that's what they grew up from xianity to believe.
Note that this argument is a logical fallacy. It's a combination "appeal to authority" and "appeal to the masses". Appealing to historians doesn't really prove anything. Just tell them if they really want to argue without fallacies, they should give evidence, not merely appealing to what historians believe.

Majority of the historians don't know shit. Most of them think that Jesus existed, they think Aryans invaded Dravidians, they think Egyptian pyramids were built in the last 4,000 years and they think that humans were hunters and gatherers till last ice age. They also believe in Darwin's theory and Big Bang Theory.. That should tell you that they don't have brains, but shit filled in their heads. Despite all the evidence against their theories, most of them deliberately choose to ignore it or just are afraid to admit it.
The problem is that, it is very basic survival they are afraid of..Mainstream history or archaeology or all these studies are controlled by a few powerful people. These people can go to any extent, even kill, so that the history they write remains unquestioned. Moreover, in the academia, most of these professors are egoistic arse-holes. The simple equation in the academia is that "you want your PhD? Better do as your guide says. Else, you can say good bye to your PhD and your career." These so-called experts and professors can literally destroy your career overnight. No one in the academia wants to take those risks. The result? Everyone becomes a parrot, repeating the same thing again and again. And this lie eventually becomes truth.. Any lie repeated so many times, will be eventually taken as truth. That is what happened about Jesus also..
