Working With Demon PazuzuDemons being evil or good or both? Various views about this and in occult literature. Some "Demons" made evil by a conquering religion or government that were once state or regional deities of various natures. Research into Left Hand Path websites and books, like those about Demons and Demonlogy, offers more clues about how to work with them. Some Pagans and magickal folk also have worked with Demon figures, or in their original aboriginal forms. I worked with the Demon Pazuzu of THE EXORCIST book/movie fame, the Mesopotamian Demon of The Southwest Winds and King of the Evil spirits of the Air, besides plagues and diseases, storms and droughts. He was also ironically a protector of women of childbearing years and periods against another Demon, the female LAMASHTU and evil spirits. From 1989 to 1998 I used it's name and amulet to ward off social dangers during my Gothic "Warlock" Pagan phase. It was a being that also made a good WatchDemon guard outside whatever home I lived in. "Evil against Evil".  Through the entire 31 years of the Global AIDS/STDs pandemics, Pazuzu has also been a servitor for me to divine through black bowl water scrying, bonecasting, biowarfare and disease projections, or their paranormal essence in Shadow magick workings I've done on New Moon cycles and banishings. Offerings in trade were usually bloody pork meat mixed with milk buried into the Earth of whatever property I might be divining from. If I was evoking Pazuzu to specific locales in combat defense workings, I would write sigils and terms on parchment to burn them, limiting the fieldwave current of Pazuzu's timespan. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PazuzuWorking with this Demon particularly meant dealing with it's nature and keeping up my health as much as possible. It was NEVER dealt with as a friend or colleague, but as a powerful predator that traded for sustainance. After the EXORCIST movies, this Demon went from archeological and Demonology back pages to a malefic force concept even beyond the Christian Satan and Devil Globally, but for a magician and skilled Pagan, even feral beings can be worked with. A good many occultists and Pagan people at the time of THE EXORCIST hysteria, plus Satanists, had their wands full explaining Demons, Satan, possession, but cash profits and Hollywood spin offs made "Satan" and "Demons" a corporate investment with a hungry for horror population that had a heavy run in the 70s and 80s especially. With the ancient Hebrews and Classical Judaism, the "Ha-Satans" were in the employ of the Monotheist God and his names as observors and reporters of human faults and offenses before the satans became "Satan" and "The Devil" later with the Septuagant translated into Greek. What became Satan's minions are actually the Abramic God's servitors and creations. If they work to divide sides even inside Abramic religious groups, it all serves the Godhead's purposes and explains why many Abramists wind up having to Hell and back near and post death experiences. Consider every religious Abramist that has tortured, raped, murdered, led bloody wars against other human groups fueled by "Divine Providence" as angels were leading the way.
