Why Physical Existence?

Now that my mental and astral senses are well trained, I have began mental wandering as it's described in Initiation Into Hermetics. Getting used to the mental plane, which is like our personal space within the Akasha, is spaceless and timeless.

And I am starting to wonder, why do we have a physical plane and an astral plane which we need to train and become as Gods within anyway? Why was it created? The mental plane is already perfect. There is nothing you can not experience here once your senses are well trained.

The mental plane deals with representations from the physical plane and the senses, without the phycal plane there would be no representations to think about, no references at all. And the same with the astral. The physical is the base from which nobody can stand in its own. Obviously with the mental projection you do project to things which are based on the physical plane. You do view a specific place for example. If that place didn't exist physically you would view nothing.

Also your question assumes that there was an intelligent purpose for creating the entire world, which is not. To believe everything must have been created for some logical *human* reason (according to HUMAN logic) it's like xian creationism.

Physical (Universal) existence is definitive. Beyond it you kind of enter a murky/foggy realm. Imagine how life would be like without time and space - You wouldn't know why/where/how things are. You would only end up in a great confusion. Take into account why/how the physical exists is probably to be the most effective place for the mind to work in. With only words and mentality you wouldn't learn the lesson about things. That would be like trying to understand how a car works without even having one to work with.

taking it from dimensional and hyperdimensional perspective,i'll tell you that humans, being 3-dimensional entities needs physical matter for expression.3- and 4- dimensional beings needs physical matter for expression.but 5-, 6-, and 7-dimensional beings have no need of corporal matter for existence.
