Why people use the name Satan more often than Lucifer?

In many conversations people use more the name Satan than Lucifer; i personally like to use name Lucifer more. Also i know that Satan means adversary and that's not a name, is that right? If it is, then does anyone know His true name?
And finally how about calling it Luciferianism, is it the same as Satanism?

Youve been decieved. That it means adversary is HEBREW. Reread the homepage on templeofzeus.org it should say that it means ETERNAL TRUTH and that that is sanskrit a language older than hebrew.

So no it is obviously not the same.

Luciferians are not Satanaists- they are cometely different. Yes they believe in Lucifer as a guardian opposed to yahweh but they only believe in Him as a deity. There is 0 spirituality. No meditations or talking to Him. They just believe not really Him as the devil but as the true God. They kinda just view Him as God and that's all. They don't know the whole truth. Satan in Sanskrit is Truth and Sanskrit is older than hebrew. It's one of the oldest languages in the world. And Satan is His name. When asking an enemy they have to swear in Satan and nothing else.
