WHY ME???

Greetings
   I got a post from a stranger in my email .Yesterday the same person came on my im and i told him the same thing. i told him to post all his questions to the group as there are other people (that translates as most of the members of JoS) who can answer his questions.Today while checking the email i see a mail from him he wrote the same rthing he wrote in the im.I am copy pasting it b4 dont know why i am skeptical.Doers anyone know him.Even when i told him yesterday to post on ed mrthe group why did he e\mail me????? I told him i do not have any knowledge yet he emailed me.Reproduced below is exactly what he wrote to me

I got messages from him too and I got him to explain more and more too me, which only dug his hole deeper. I have to pieces of advice for you,

First stay awau from it, I know I do not have to tell you this but just stay away. It has all the wrong attentions and I have this in his responses to my emails. It is best to leave it alone and block it from your email. The reason why it is emailing you is because it wants to find someone to post its crap on the boards. Also these things look for people who make alot of posts and if they see this person has acomplished alot or helps alot of people than it will also target them.

Second, while I made the same mistake and acept that, my second piece of advice to you is to not post any of this crap again. If you get an email like this from one of those people and know what they are than just delete it or ignore it. Its purpose is to get attention and if they can not get on the boards they find others as I said before to do it for them, so do not be their messenger.

Also if you are smart about it, you can communicate with them a bit to to try to get them to spill their true intentions, but if you do this NEVER give out any information regarding yourself.

He's a scammer/phisher if you ask me. It sounds like a typical spam/scam/phishing post, and I think if you email him back he'll probably talk about money or giving your personal info. Don't do anything like that, just mark it as "spam". I doubt it has anything to do with SS at all, note that it doesn't mention the name of "our society".

I just wanted to say that we all make mistakes and I am sure everyone on here has made atleast one in their time with these boards. What we need to remember is that the strongest and wisest of people are not free from error but correct themselves and learn from their mistakes.
