Why Is The Name Isis Different From The Chant?

simple question
why is the isis chant different pronounced?
the "veil of isis" is supposed to be "eeee-ssss"
so why is that? unless i am wrong
 
Another interesting tidbit is that the letter "I" is often pronounced as "eye" in English but in very few other languages, where it is pronounced as "eee".

Isis was in truth called as enunciated...the way we say it now was as a safeguard in their continued blinding of the world to its true origin thus if anyone was to stumble upon it,uttering it would have nil effect

This type of pronounciation is used in the Finnish language, we like to think that letters are pronounced the way they are used when talking.
