why do we dedicate?

im pretty new to this, but ive read ALOT of joy of satan and others, but im still confused about the dedication. What does it mean, and what is it good for? what does dedication entail? and why does satan want that? the site says dedication should be done first, but i dont want to "jump in the deep end" of a religion im generally new to and didnt want to just blindly follow what the site tells me.

Ehh wherever said that the dedication should be done first?You should actually do only if you are sure about that and gain more knowledge.

Now why you dedicate, it means accepting Satan as your God and you are honest to Him. Satan doesn't want that badly, you do that by your own will no one forces you. Sure its two way, like i said its accepting and trusting him and he does that too. Many people tryed to use him in the past for their own gains.

Oh i forgot to say that you get a guardian demon when you're dedicated. Some people have one from their past lives but for most its on their dedication.

You could also empower yourself for some months then ask Satan about all that. Like you said we don't follow blindly a site but communicate with Satan Himself.

Every satanist has a guardian demon, not only the dedicated ones. When father lucifer sees potential in us. he guides us to the left hand path.
He also gives us a guardian demon. Satanism isn't a ''big brother'' project where you get a guardian when you sign up.

Yep, thats what i said, you *officially* become a Satanist when you're dedicated. How could father trust you if you show you trust him too?

And actually you're confusing things, dedication is not a sign up thing or a big brother project just like i said you show your trust and you accept Satan. Like in real life if you help a friend ans show you trust him you get help from him too. Sure a true wouldn't help you if you could betray him at the first chance, would he?

You say, you get one when you dedicate. Dedication is indeed a sign of trust, but you make it sound as if you go into a job employment with specific standards for everybody.
This is not true! Things such as guardian demons differ with everybody, they are extremely personal. Maybe you have gotten in contact with your guardian after you dedicated, but I'm convinced(also from experience) that they are watching over us from the start, guiding us to satanism.

Oh well, no infighting between brothers and sisters.
It is clear we differ in opinion here from conflicting experiences,
but the point is, anyone who is in their heart a satanist shall have a guardian demon.
