I believe that this 'pact with Satan'(a.k.a. pact with the Greys/Reptilians/Anu/whatever.) started with xtianity, when a pope,or some very powerful people sold their soul to them in exchange for power (I think it was something like that,HP Maxine explains better in her sermon,but I can't find it now.).By then I think the concept of selling one's soul to Satan wasn't known among the public, until I guess around the time when the templars started getting hunted down one by one,charged for heresy,blasphemy,etc(When actually I think the pope and the King of France were afraid of their power haha.).There's also the Inquisition that helped strengthen that concept, when innocent people often got accused of practicing witchcraft and possessing a pact with Satan.Around the 17-19th century,I don't know much about that century,but let's not forget the musicians who claimed to have gotten some of the pieces they composed,inspired from Satan(Niccolò Paganini and Giuseppe Tartini).
