Not sure if this point has been made before, but I'll add it anyway.
As far as memory serves, from learning wheat and plant farming in school. It was origionally a 'famon' plant. Something that was easy to produce lots of in famon conditions, it was cheap and filling (in the source of bread). This is where we started using it. But as time got on, people caught on to the profitability of it I suppose. These days we have more than enough food to feed everyone, only we don't share and spread these resources out effectivly. And everyone has made bread a staple, instead of its intended use of a 'famon food'.
Diet wise, as far as I'm aware. Bread is huge on carbs, which will directly result in your putting on body fat, if you aren't burning through the carbs and everything else you consume. So naturally cutting wheat out of your diet to an extent will reduce weight.
Nutritionally, I'm not sure where it stands in this aspect, I have yet to watch the video. Something for tomorrow.

I note other people state they lost excess body fat doing the same quickly. People have been eating wheat for thousands of years. And some evidence found shows they suffered physically on some level from degenerative effects. Where those who didn't eat as much or none where better off.

We have adapted to wheat to some degree but it depends on the individual.

HP Mageson,
Thank you for posting that video. I watched the whole thing immediately after you posted it and I was fascinated by it. I have since read everything I can find on Dr Davis and the Wheat Belly "diet".
I have always had a problem with this visceral fat and love handles despite my diet being OK and I am fairly keen on my weight training. It is the only place I put on weight. This to me, looks a likely explanation. My personal thoughts on the obesity crisis is that we should be looking at fairly common ingredients as a cause, simply because the crisis is so wide spread. I would also look at sugar but wheat is perfect as it would be considered harmless by the general public and nobody would suspect it.
But I have to see for myself, I put myself on the diet last Monday and I will do it for 3 months and report back. I have to say though I am confident as my starting weight was 79kg (12st6) and already it is 76.3kg 12st.
One thing to note is that Dr Davis is of the opinion that it was a bunch of well-intentioned, innocent mistakes that lead us to this point. We, as Satanists, know that it was intentional designed to increase the profits of big food and big pharma. These people don't care how many die or are sick.
I will give an update at the end of the month.

What are peoples experiences and opinion on this subject and diet in general? There is a lot of misinformation across the different camps on this subject.
