What the heck is invocation

ok I want to make an astral temple but idk what invocation is and how to invoke something. I'm new to satanism and I want revenge on my past friends who hated me cuz I used to be an atheist. I want to make an astral temple so I can dedicate my soul to satan and get my revenge. thanks for the help. HAIL SATAN!!!

Invocation means when u bring in energies into yourself.

Evocation means when u bring energies outside of urself.
