What side to choose?

Hello, I have a friend who has this thing.
He believes in helping his old ways (The Dakota Ways)
He can go into the astral world and has SPIRITS talking to him
he says that he can see their is a battle everyday and everywhere.
One side is the people and everything being corrupt,
and another side (Which I believe is our side) is showing him how everything is corrupt and asking him to stop it.
He says he has these two sides battling over him, but he doesn't know which side he should go to? He is powerful, his energy is quite awesome.
He seems to be just really confused about him, but I really don't know what to tell him. He said he 'sold his soul' to the 'devil' but i explained to him that we don't 'sell our souls' we dedicate them.
I want other peoples opinion on this because I've never encountered a person that doesn't know what side he is on? I feel that I should tell him that he should be on our side but don't want to like push that. you know? Any opinions at all would be AWESOME!

If he has been told and shown that one side is corrupt and he still can't make up his mind? He has bigger issues than not being able to make a decision.
