Yes, as the title says, I really have to do it because there is no other way for me to meditate or do any of the workings without getting distracted by today's lifestyle of constantly being surrounded by technology or what not.

I need some ideas from people here on how to or where to start a new, fresh life.

First thing that was on my thought is how those monks live in temples or somewhere in asia without getting affected by outside world hehe  but, dunno,. A bit weird that one. Seen to many movies.

I was thinking if it is possible to move away from the big cities, even small ones, villages, like literally move away from everyone and live in a small house somewhere.

But to get that I obviously have to work to get money which will take me years, years that I will loose because I'll still live in this lifestyle.
Not to mention i still have a loan to pay back which I havent started yet.

I'm only in my 20s now but I dont want any time to waste. No one wants that for themselves if they have goals. :)

Any help or tips will be greatly appreciated.

You're getting distracted because you're choosing to get distracted, people can get very focused even when in a big metropoly. If you don't fix your attention span then you're going to get distracted even in a small village. Learn to say no to distractions in any place you are.

If you want to go and live in smaller cities, do that not for the distractions but because they're less degenerate than big ones.

In this day and age you'll need money to begin that journey too. Check my Signature. It's all there.

Look into sensory deprivation tanks, these are the best solution in my opinion.

Second best option would be to sound proof a room and use it strictly for meditations. Apparently you might feel wifi signals, so in that case you could isolate part of the room with copper wire mesh to prevent those signals from entering.

Third best option would be to practice not being distracted in your current environment, for example void meditation, which should be done regardless. Maintaining focus is a skill.

The worst option would be to run away from your problems to supposed greener grasses, where you'll find yourself uncomfortable with the lack of modern stimulation. Also, those monks are more than likely purely martial artists these days. The Tibetan monks were culled, even cannibalized on. Those who survived are the monks who weren't hunted specifically or didn't kill themselves in protests. Their leader the dalai lama is a fraud, it's directly illegal for a "dalai lama" to be declared without the permission of the Chinese government.

I guess I overreacted a bit.
I already tried to stop playing games which take like 3/4 of my day and it went well for some time but then I still use social media and spent time on Internet which made me bored and then I started playing again.

I even tried limiting my time gaming to 2 hours a day but it's not going well either.
I guess I have to be more persistent.

Appreciate all the help so far.

Going from one extreme to another is hardly a solution. You need to reflect on yourself what you really want to do, what you really enjoy, and start doing those activities. Change is always gradual, make baby steps and make it last instead of large leaps and then swing right back where you left off.

Use Nauthiz to increase your discipline to do your advancement routine no matter what. Do this in the hour of Saturn, on a waning moon, on an earth sign-moon. Ideally, on a Capricorn moon and/or Saturday.

Use Ansuz or Munka to free yourself from addictions. Do this on a waxing moon, during an Aquarius, Pisces, or Scorpio moon.

Delete and block, through software, all unhealthy entertainment, including video games, social media, reddit, etc. Music or podcasts are generally ok, as is reading. After a few days of going without overstimulating entertainment, your brain will reset and feel more entertained by healthier activities.

Example software: https://knowadays.com/blog/productivity-software-website-blockers-to-help-you-stay-focused/

Personally, I had deleted my Steam account and other actions, which on the surface sound extreme, but I realized that you can either make a decisive action now and strongly alter your future or continue to be beholden to these addictions. Being "moderate" when you may lack the discipline to carry this out is only a recipe for failure.

Yes, you can feel cravings or relapse, but you must continue to fight until a more permanent spiritual solution can be implemented.

I am planning on selling my pc and then using runes and the working you explained to me to find myself different hobbies or completely detach from games, social media etc.

I know I have to do it because before I used to have a laptop and when I got bored of it and also wanted to stop playing games, I got rid of my laptop and then 2 months later I bought a pc...
So this time I will also be doing runes to completely detach myself.
