Hello. I have grown up in a very christian home. My father being a preacher always forced his religion on us and I'm 100% that if I was a satanist and he found out he would kill me and then himself so he could "escort me to the throne of god personally for my sentence" He has told me he would do this before if I turned out gay. However it is not my personal safety for which this article is about. I have just never been all that into religion. I hear all of these first person accounts of being in touch with a divine but I am yet to experience anything of that nature no matter how badly I wish for it to happen. I read a lot on the JoS site and it really makes sense to me. It is actually along the lines of what I had been believing before I came across the site. I thought that the story of the fall of Lucifer and his description was one side of the story. There are always 2 sides and usually the first one to come about proclaiming innocence is the one that has been doing the wronging. Anyways. I am here to possibly get some clarity. I want to join the correct side but neither has truly made its presence aware to me. Above all I wish to hear it from a demon or even Lucifer himself but without giving up my safety or soul in the process. Is there a way I can learn the truth in such a manner? Also, is referring to Satan as Lucifer alright? I feel like the name Satan has just been tarnished so greatly that it holds a negative energy about it. However Lucifer seems to put me at ease and is more peaceful. Idk. Thank you

Don't be afraid. All you have to do is make sure to keep the fact that you are a Satanist to yourself. Satan is no jeezas and he doesn't want to see his followers get hurt. Martyrdom is not of Satan.

Besides, now you have a living example of how ''loving'' xians are. All it takes is showing a little bit of dissidence and many of them are ready to kill you on the spot. There is a huge number of fundies out there that would gladly return to days of burning people on the stake, if their church would just have it's former political and social power.

So don't worry and continue your study of the JOS. If you decide to dedicate, rememember to start daily meditation program and put an aura of protection around yourself to ward off negative people and events in your life. And above all, don't fear. Fear=failure.

It does not matter what you call Satan as long as you are respectful, now you can do this meditation I forget where the HPS (the one who made JOS, I am sorry I forget her name) put this, the meditation is light a candle and meditate with the flame asking if Satanism is right for you, and wait for a postive reply a yes or a no, some time after me dedicating I had lost some faith in Satan and my soul then later I did that and continued power meditating, now you can just do some power meditation first and see if there are any results, if your christian god is real and that merciful as they say you have nothing to worry about from practicing this a little. Good luck in your choice and if you decide to dedicate Satan will protect you but do not be so stupid as to go proclaiming that you dedicated to everyone.
