Triangle symbolism?

Just a quick question:

What is an ordinary triangle symbolic for in satanic symbolism? I know it is often seen with an eye inside, representing the top of the pyramid, the unfinished Great Work. But is there something more to this?

Also, what is the INVERTED, or point-down triangle symbolic for? And a point-down triangle with an eye inside of it? I see this symbol being used often by some theistic-claiming black metal bands and wanted to know the exact meaning of it.

The inverted point down triangle symbolizes the element of water, and also was used to symbolize Satan in Traditional Satanism before the Baphomet.
