Trance software

If you have an iphone or ipod touch there's an app called mindWave that's suppose to help you get into a meditative state and a bunch of other stuff

Anyone have a lead or suggestion on trance music creating software?

What a co-incedence.. I'm a PsyTrance producer as a hobby. There are quite a few options out there - Reason by Propeller Head, Cubase by Steinberg, Ableton Live (not sure who makes it), Nuendo etc..
I use Cubase as it's the best for me. There's a fair bit to learn before u can get started though. About samples, VST's, VSTi's and so on.. So the best thing to do is to find a person who knows how to use one of these programs and knows a bit about making digital music, and learn from them. it's something that has to be taught face to face in front of a PC

If you're talking about creating it, I would use a keyboard (like a Roland di or motif es) a drum pad (the Alesis SR-18 dm is a good start, but the di has a pretty decent array of tek drum kits- around 300 seperate sounds in all) & something to record it with (the Zoom HB 1600 is awesome & comes with an on board burner to take your creations wherever you go).
Hail Satan!
