I just dedicated to Satan this past Monday, and decided to begin the 6 month spiritual warfare program today. However, I'm having trouble with achieving trance, because every time I try, I fall asleep. I imagine the feeling of climbing down a ladder or falling, and the next thing I know I have crazy thoughts/dreams running through my head and I realize that I was falling asleep. Does anyone have any advise on how to deal with this? It's discouraging to a beginner like me. Thank you!

Same thing happens to me. From what I understand, we just have to keep trying.

Be sure to be well-rested! This might seem somewhat obvious, but many people really need to sleep more, especially children and teens.

I can't go into a deep trance if I'm tired. Nevertheless, it is difficult when beginning. As described on the website, most people will be acessing that part of their brains for the first time.

Don't do it before going to bed, if you can. Or shortly after waking up. If you find yourself falling asleep. If you can, do it after your food has digested after a meal (generally an hour or two, depending on how heavy the meal was) and you are alert, sometime during the day.If you are tired, maybe drink more fluids (not coffee or alcohol...you could be dehydrated and not know it) or go for a walk outside, if it's not too hot. Both will give you energy, same with doing the Five Tibetans.
