ToZ Translations Rules Issued

Greetings everyone. I have issued a new document clarifying general guidelines for translations, AI usage, absences, the translation platform etc. The Document has been issued in the Vultus Templorum Translations Space and will become effective from tomorrow, Monday 8th of June 2026.

The reason I am posting this on the forums as well is to inform everyone who is not present there or has not seen the message that new absence rules will come into force and translators will be removed from the platforms and any official efforts if they don't communicate absences longer than 21 days, starting tomorrow. This will based on input of new pages data from the Translation Platform, i.e. if a Translator has not added a translated page to ToZ in their language in more than 21 days, the above rules will come into force. This means that if life circumstances intervene and one has to take time off translations for more than 21 days, this is fine as long as it is being communicated to me beforehand.

Further clauses can then be discussed on a case by case basis. As said the full document has been issued on Vultus Templorum Translations Space and I encourage everyone who is not active there to join the Space and become more present and vocal. Translating "on your own" is also fine if you prefer to do it this way but still communication on activity is mandatory and very important so that we know exactly what is happening at any time.

I would like to thank SG Alchemist for this important rule. It is essential that everyone adopts the mindset that what we do must be taken seriously and be given the proper value and respect it deserves.

Respecting the commitment undertaken as translators goes beyond the act of translating, which remains of fundamental importance. It becomes a way to grown and become stronger within us, and of demonstrating to ourselves and to the Gods our worth and honor through fulfilling the commitment we have made, as well as showing the honor and respectful consideration of informing others when we are unable to carry out our work.

It is this healthy cooperation that makes the greatest constructive achievements possible.

Furthermore, I would like to add a word for those who may be unable to translate as much as they would like: this is neither a stain nor a dishonor. The circumstances of life affect everyone and being unable to contribute does not make you any less of a Zevist.

Always remain aware that, whatever circumstances you may find yourself in, the Gods see that you are doing your best, and even more than that, and deep down you know it as well. And that is what truly matters. Do not beat yourselves if you are not able to contribute in the way you want right now.
