Tower of babel.

I was just wondering. Does the tower of babel realy exist and was it a tribute to nimrod? I was reading about it in a book and it came across me to ask all if you. Plus it would be cool to know that it exists.

I think Babel is a mistranslation of Babylon try that when astral travelling see what you get.
