I just read about Tibetian Prayer wheels, and I quickly wrote out the mantra 'Aum Mani Padme Hum" several times on several pieces of tape, and taped them to the wheels of my car before driving home. I don't particularly like many aspects of where I am living now. I wanted to see the effects of activating this mantra each time I drove to and back from work, or whenever driving around in the area. I find it interesting that I feel different after driving home today. I think that is so something, I have the belief that this will change the area that I am living in ultimately. Directly via the mantra, and indirectly by changing me and my interactions with others here.
The tibetian Buddhist site stated that 'Aum Mani Padme hum" sums up all of tibetian buddhism. Is there a single phrase or mantra which sums up all of the JOS philosophy? I would like to write that directly on all four tires of my car.
