Threatening presence

Hello, all. The other night I was asleep, content & at peace when a shocking feeling rose up in me strong enough to wake me up. I felt a presence of a man next to my bed staring down at me, very angry & ominous. I turned to see, but there was no one around. The feeling stayed with me & I felt the need to get up & check my house, which yielded nothing. The feeling comes and goes now, strong & threatening. Is there any advice on how I can get rid of this presence or shield myself? Any thoughts would be appreciated!
