The Tarot

Anyone know of any book for the Tarot to study and learn
about them? I read a few different ones, they seem to teach
the same, but with some differences. Also, they say the
Querent is suppose to shuffle the deck and ask the
question while shuffling it. Is that okay or will there
energy effect my cards? Also any other info concerning
the Tarot would be of help.

Only book i have used is one called Tarot made easy by Nancy Garen Although it's a beginner book i have had a lot of success with this one.. Usually it depends on the type of layout you use. Me myself i have done what i like to call is a Life reading.. it's a circle layout using all of the cards. like a clock and one in the middle. From many readings i have hit accurately one ones life from beginning from childhood to present time. But then again i was charging 150.00 for my reading too so I had to be accurate. If your wanting to learn in depth about each card I know there are some books out there that teach that. I would have to do a little research for you to find those out. As far as the Querent shuffling the cards it's just a matter of feelings. Sometimes i allow them but if i am not feeling a good energy i will shuffle them for them and ask the question. It's a personal choice. But when not doing a reading it's wise to not let anyone touch them or they could put some negative energy on your cards. Just my two cents worth Hope it helps

 If you want a better reading, just hold the cards in a pile (like they just came out of the box) and knock on them several times. This will remove the querent's energy and put the card deck back to neutral. This is good for when a lot of people handle your cards to shuffle or whatnot. If the reading gets confusing or no longer makes sense, that's because you have to knock on the deck. Hope this helped.

Hmm... That's not what I heard nor read. I have had some dealings with Tarot and someone once told me that the proper way to handle the cards is to ALWAYS make sure to place the cards face up in the deck, and then to place the cards into a silk sleeve/pouch/case as this would purify the deck's energy. I also read and was told that one should never loan their deck for another to use for this would cause problems. The problems I recall consisted of chaotic energy being stored in the deck, clashing energy causing miss-readings, etc...

When I use mine, its communication between me and my GD. They are a great tool in figuring problems in life, I have come to be surprised on how accurate it is.
