Greetings, I acknowledge the esteemed Clergy and Supreme Guardians of ToZ.

There's an old saying: "The pen is mightier than the sword".
I'm sure many here have posted and had second thoughts about how their question or presentation could've been better spelled, punctuated or presented? Once it has been posted it becomes the property of ToZ, and for better or worse, that's the way it remains.
What if we had the opportunity, under certain perimeters, not to delete it, but to be able to change (edit) it to it's originally intended format and presentation? Would that be unreasonable, considering that the person posting it has certain vested interests in it, concerning their reputation here, or just simply being understood in the light they intended?
I'm new here and have a formal education, but already have made some mistakes, "To err is human".
To allow this added function, which I'm sure can be done without much alteration to the programing, would add more autonomy for members, without detracting from the rules and guidelines.
It would also show all involved with the forums that ToZ has the very best intentions and respect for fairness and the presentation of truth. ToZ must always be the bastion of righteousness and a shinning light of the truth.
I thank you all for your time and consideration of this matter.

Hail Zeus-Dyeus and the Daemons.

You can request an edit and a moderator will edit it, as far as I know.

Allowing people to edit willy-nilly would be exploitable. But an edit button that sends the proposed edit to moderation so they can approve or reject it doesn't sound bad.

Yes, that's what I had in mind. I'm not sure how much more work this would involve for the moderators, but if feasible, would at least like it to be considered?
