C.S. Lewis, the author, strayed from Christianity for a while but unfortunately turned back to it. For a long, long time there was little option for people whose souls cannot bear living materialistically. This is going to change with us. Though the author is gentile, it seems he had a jewish wife for a short time.

No idea if the author was aware of the Orkhon inscriptions (732–735 CE) of the Göktürks when he wrote this, but he did make a point. Bilge Kağan was offered to settle down, give up the nomadic life, build up walls and permanent castles. He consulted with his right-hand man, Tonyukuk. They decided not to settle down because it would soften them and others with nomadic-warrior culture would destroy their people in the future. Lewis understood this and he saw that the Western civilization's answer to this question is chivalry. Today, the answer is still the same. Do you want to protect your homeland and civilization from a new wave of uncivilized migrants? You know the answer.

Note: I don't mean Göktürks are uncivilized barbarians, don't get offended, dear Turkish Zevists. Barbarians do not write down inscriptions saying do not racemix and other advice for future generations. You know what I mean.

Al Jilwah: Chapter IV

"It is my desire that all my followers unite in a bond of unity, lest those who are without prevail against them." - Shaitan
